This is Edwin starting up his Gibson Les Paul opening with "Anything Good About Me" at VH1's Hard Rock Live which aired Sept.11. To me, Edwin McCain is the tune of music, it's great,it's got up-beat rock songs, mid-tempo rock ballads and a few acoustical songs. He's been compared to (by my uncle and i) like bryan adams type of rock.Edwin's got a kick ass voice and can play guitar great,he performs awsome in concert and u can tell he loves what he does.His lyrics leave me wondering "what does he mean by that",? He elaborates very good and uses words that will leave you looking them up in a dictionary,(i do).

This concert took place in Austin Tx.at a bar-b-que/resturant/bar type of place called STUBB'S.ilive 300 miles south of Austin and came with my uncle Adam who lives in Austin.I went two hours before the concert and met Scott,Larry,and Crieg were running sound tests and I got autographs and got to shake their hands. I took three posters of the band and my cd(Misguided Roses)and during opening act I met Dave.When the concert started I rushed up to the front and got Edwins auto.on my poster and CD. I didn't get to meet Edwin but my uncle pulled a quick one and got a autograph. Next time I'll meet him. It was the Greatest Night of my life(for now)!!!

This concert looked fun...but not really, cause you have to sit( who could do that at a Edwin Concert?) I wish my good buddy Sean would have come with me to see Edwin cause he is a big fan as well!
